Depending on what day you are holding your event you can have access the day before for set up. If your event is on a Saturday, we are happy to give you access on the Thursday if there are no other mid-week events. You can pack up on the following day.

Our maximum number of guests permitted is 140. A marquee is required if the number of guests is over 100-110.

No, we do not supply a marquee but will suggest a third party to install one.

We kindly request that the music stops at midnight.

Yes, we have plenty of onsite parking outside the stables and when this is full guests can park outside the main house.

Yes, our venue is accessible, with a disabled bathroom and we can also provide a ramp if needed.

We do not have onsite accommodation but there are a handful of great options for guests to stay such as nearby hotels, Air BnBs and the venue is only a short drive from Edinburgh. We can share further details about recommended accommodation.

There is a bridal room and drawing room in the main house that you can use the morning on of the event to get ready.

Yes, we have built in WIFI within the venue.

The stables is a dry hire venue; this means you will need to provide your choice of suppliers. We have a great list of recommended suppliers we can share.

We provide a choice of round or rectangle tables and chairs for up to 140 guests.

Yes, you can bring your own alcohol, we do not charge a corkage fee for this.

We have an independent Wedding Coordinator who you can book to help run your wedding, this is priced separately.

Yes, we are a dog friendly venue, just ensure they are kept on a lead when going around the grounds as we do have livestock and other animals.

Yes, but please ensure it is natural petals only, no glitter or paper.

Yes, you can bring candles, we just ask if they can be within a secure candle holder and in a suitable and safe location.
